Bad Luck Fale will be celebrating long into the night after winning the IWGP Intercontinental Championship.

Fale defeated Shinsuke Nakamura for the title at NJPW Dominion in Osaka, Japan earlier this evening.

“Bad Luck Fale loves the fact he’s the Intercontinental Champion right now,” said Fale’s Bullet Club stablemate Karl Anderson.

“He’s one of the most famous wrestlers walking in this country. He just made sure that Shinsuke Nakamura got stretchered out.”

Fale crushed Nakamura with a splash from the top rope before finishing him with the Bad Luck Fall to claim the IWGP Intercontinental Championship in the Dominion main event.

“I’m taking this belt to Tonga,” Fale told reporters after the match. “If anybody wants to come get it, come to Tonga.”

Anderson insisted Fale will be a fighting champion though, and suggested he would defend his title against any and all prospective challengers from John Cena to Kofi Kingston.

Anderson and Doc Gallows retained their IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championship at Dominion after hitting the Magic Killer on Togi Makabe to turn back the challenge from him and Hiroshi Tanahashi.

The Young Bucks, however, couldn’t hold on to the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship when challenged by Alex Shelley and KUSHIDA, Time Splitters.

Bullet Club still holds three of NJPW’s six championships after Dominion, with aspirations to add even more titles to their portfolio before the end of the year.
