Bad news for fans of The Briscoe Brothers: Jay and Mark are off the card for Sakura Events On the Mat.
The Briscoes have another commitment in November they are unable to reschedule, according to the Sakura Events Facebook Page.
However, fans won’t be missing out. Hirooki Goto will now be part of the Sakura Events card.
Goto is a former IWGP Intercontinental Champion. He most recently wrestled Kenny Omega in the final of the 2016 G1 Climax.
Both Goto and Omega are now part of the confirmed roster for Sakura Events On the Mat. Specific match details for the card have yet to be announced.
Sakura Events On the Mat takes place Saturday, November 12, at The Trusts Arena in Auckland. Tickets are available from Eventfinda.
