Seth Rollins will finally have some backup when he faces Dolph Ziggler at SummerSlam.

A returning Dean Ambrose will be in The Architect’s corner after laying out Ziggler and Drew McIntyre on Raw.

Rollins and Ziggler met to sign the contract for their Intercontinental Championship match in the final moments of today’s Raw broadcast from Greensboro, North Carolina. There was rising concern Rollins would be unable to make it—and forfeit his title shot—after visiting China earlier in the week.

“I was dealing with some travel issues, they just weren’t exactly my travel issues,” Rollins told Ziggler once he finally arrived.

“You know that clause in the contract about me having someone in my corner at SummerSlam? Well, that was put there for a very particular reason. I’ve kinda gotten sick of dealing with you guys two-on-one, and since I know you’re going to have the Scottish psychopath in your corner at SummerSlam, I figure I oughta have a lunatic in mine.”

Both McIntyre and Ziggler looked shocked as Ambrose made his way down the entrance ramp for the first time in nine months, since suffering a triceps injury in December.

The WWE Universe cheered while Ambrose hurled Ziggler over the top rope, and flattened McIntyre with Dirty Deeds.

Rollins then signed the contract to ensure Ambrose will be in his corner when The Architect challenges Ziggler, accompanied by McIntyre, for the Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam.
