Redacted claimed another title this past Saturday when William Cutting became the first-ever CPW Champion.

Cutting overcame “Falcon Kid” Cam Kaiba, James Shaw, and Tnatious T at Movember to Remember to win the vacant title.

Kaiba appeared to be closing in on the belt when he caught Tnatious T with a Kestrel Cutter. Shaw – who had qualified for the main event by defeating Tane Tukaha earlier in the evening – prevented Kaiba from pinning T though, and the two scuffled until Kaiba trapped Shaw in an STF.

While Shaw struggled in the submission, Cutting covered Tnatious T (who was still down from the Kestrel Cutter) and referee Blair Rhodes counted the pin just before Shaw tapped out to the STF, handing a narrow victory to Cutting.

Cutting and Redacted stablemate Bryant celebrated with their new championship but were soon interrupted by a video message. Slade Mercer announced his return to New Zealand, and his goal to become CPW Champion.

“Unfortunately for you, Will, The Mercenary has his sights set on the CPW Heavyweight Championship,” Mercer said.

“But tonight is your night. Celebrate, enjoy it. Take that championship home, show it to your whānau. Because, come December 12th, the CPW Heavyweight Championship will be going home with The Mercenary.”

Bad Bromance retained the CPW Tag Team Championship when challengers Ray Gunn and Shane Sinclair came to blows.

Sinclair, who was replacing Jay Marshall, accidentally blinded Gunn with a handful of powder intended for Jimmy Foxx. Unable to see, Gunn swung wildly and clocked Sinclair with a right hand also intended for Foxx.

Sinclair planted Gunn with a sit-out exploder suplex and walked out on his partner. Gunn quickly fell victim to a 3D which allowed Bad Bromance to retain their titles.
