We reported here yesterday that Chris Jericho has been in regular contact with WWE and the two sides are discussing Jericho's return to the company. We have another update to the Chris Jericho situation.

Chris Jericho and WWE remained in contact ever since Jericho's contract expired in the summer of 2005. Things have heated up ever since Jericho's appearance on Larry King Live in July. Anybody who saw Jericho's appearance knows that Jericho was very protective of WWE's role in the tragedy, laying the foundation for his eventual return. Jericho also became very friendly with WWE champion John Cena.

Since Larry King, Chris Jericho has been in more regular contact with WWE. WWE is ready to give Jericho a guaranteed 7-figure deal to come back.

So both sides are negotiating. WWE wants Jericho, Jericho's open to returning .. While anything can happen and the deal could fall through, it's likely only a matter of time before Y2J is back in WWE.

Is CIMA actually an acronym? Or is he another KENTA scenario?

Truth? :D

Talking about this.

WWE.com wrote:
Bret Hart & Bill Goldberg: This combination goes down as one of the most baffling in sports-entertainment history. Bret defeated Goldberg for the U.S. Title. Goldberg challenged Bret for the WCW Heavyweight Championship. In between occurences, they teamed to win tag gold. And it gets weirder; Goldberg caused Bret Hart's career-ending injury. He screwed Bret!

Question: How many unsuccessful title shots has Batista had this year?

So he's coming up to his eighth at Unforgiven? That's fucking ridiculous.

What's ridiculous is since he returned last year from injury he's lost way more than he's won.

*Won via DQ (no title win) against Booker T at Summerslam and on Smackdown.

*Lost at No Mercy in 4 way.
*Beat Booker for the title finally at Survivor Series.
*Beat Kennedy at the Rumble.
*Lost the title to Undertaker at WM23.
*Lost to Taker at Backlash and on Smackdown.
*Lost to Edge at Judgement Day, One Night Stand and Vengeance.
*Lost to Khali in Battle Royale on Smackdown to crown vacant Champion.
*Lost to Khali at Great American Bash and Summerslam.

Challenges for title again at Unforgiven in a 3 way featuring Khali ( c ) and Rey Mysterio.

Batista sucks.

I think he's coming up to his ninth at Unforgiven actually, counting the Battle Royal that Khali won.

I found this piece of info on Cena and Batista that will well I dunno elighten you or make you cringe.....

4w-wrestling.com wrote:
John Cena surpassed Hulk Hogan's 1989-1990 title reign for the seventh longest WWE title reign in WWE history at Unforgiven. If he holds on to the belt for an additional week, he will surpass Randy Savage's reign for the sixth longest reign. That will definitely happen.

Since August 2006, Batista has been involved in every World Heavyweight Championship match on PPVs featuring SmackDown talent except for two. In the two pay-per-views in which he wasn't involved in a title match, he was in the main event anyway (Armageddon 2006 and No Way Out 2007). Furthermore, his title match at tonight's Unforgiven pay-per-view will be his seventh consecutive title shot at a pay-per-view.

HIS SEVENTH!!!! WTF!!!

If people get pissed off with Triple H having a surgically attached championship belt, what makes WWE think it's okay for Cena and Batista. PFFT.

That said, everyone moans when someone gets brought up to quickly to a Main Event level and then aren't ready or good enough (see John Cena, Randy Orton, and Bobby Lashley the only person who got pushed so fast and actually was that good was Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle) so they don't have anyone to put the belt on or compete for it.
