Most of the matches in this were pretty good. Nice to see some cruiserweights again.

Didn't watch any of the AJ/Crackwhore/Celine Dion storyline.

That story line is a train wreck. Mysky has been a godsend for watching pro wrestling, i can usually watch a 2 hour broadcast in an hour.

Eh - I just tape it. Then FF through 90% of it. But I watched the X division matches. Gotta do something when the wife works at night.

Ive only watched 2 episodes. Ill give it another 2 to see if it gets any better.

Worth it for the X-Div stuff that has been on lately. Pretty difficult to force yourself through anything else.

What was with the note with the cards?

Was it from the guys that jumped Sting?

The hand was Dead Man's Hand. Some kind of reference? Missing card a Joker?

I want answers!

Yea, I recognized the card set as the Dead Man's Hand aswell.
That was one of the guys who jumped Sting.
Prob just some threat like Hogans days are numbered or something but jesus, Much better booking by TNA. Im actually watching more of each impact episode than i am of Raw. Never thought i would see that day. Not expecting it too last too long tho.

I see Demoliton Trash hasnt improved. I swear Dakota Darsow is the Eric Watts of his generation, just minus the political backing and outright nepotism. He is still as awkward and botch riddled as he was when he first turned up in FCW 3+ years ago. As for flip ... i lol'd at the expression he pulled once he noticed his assflip had busted up Darsows nose.

Interesting to see Kenny King on a TNA broadcast, seriously ROH... have your reigning tag champion under a new contract BEFORE you put a belt on him. Otherwise you just look like you've just out stupided TNA.

So Madison Rayne suddenly has daddy issues and is now giving Hebners pacemaker a hell of a work out. The role of Al Wilson will now be played by Earl Hebner.
Sabin should come back with a jinx like gimmick and continuely lose due to shockingly bad luck. Yeah... its TNA, they'll manage to balls that up somehow, maybe by putting all the belts on him.
Talking of balls up. Crimson, just a couple of weeks removed from a 18 months winning streak coming to an end, goes and stares at the lights for D-Von in what amounted to a squash match... havent they got rid of the Russo stink yet!!!?.

So yeah, that was all of TNA I could manage this week.

Yeah, I hate when someone does an undefeated streak for a year and then loses once and starts jobbing every week. So lame.

Man, watching Darsow vs Cassanova made me angry. What a sloppy mess. Cassanova was so reckless, he doesn't deserve to be brought back for a PPV. Learn how to work a match without restoring to seventeen thousand flip rotations with no rhyme or reason and almost killing your opponent! Dick. I hope Repo Man steals your car!

I'm almost tempted to order the PPV just to congratulate TNA on the fantastic build-up to Roode vs Aries. If the Joseph vs Bully match was on the card, that would probably seal it.

Indy geeks they've brought in for the X Division tourney.

The 'dive over the top rope' spot should have been a drinking game.

Heh, great idea:

Over the top rope: drink
Pause and work out what we're doing next: drink
Earl Hebner, exhausted, has to pull himself up from a pinfall using a wrestler's shoulder: consume entire vessel.

Any other suggestions?

I caught it in the weekend, bloody sick alright. You'd really have to rate your pectoral strength to be willing to take that.

Yeah I was impressed by that - for the reason Shazza mentioned and also for the dude showing pretty amazing balance to not ass up when he landed.

OMG! This is the PPV I've been waiting for...well for as long as I can remember! That was totally fucking awesome, Joe vs Angle, Styles vs Daniels and Roode vs Aries were so epic. The only winner I could pick all night long was Styles which was surprising coz usually it's obvious as hell. Can not believe Aries is the World Champ, never in a million years thought they'd pull that trigger. My only gripe with the whole show was that the Ultimate X sucked and that jerk guy won, was really hoping Sonjay would get the W. He has been brilliant since he came back and I thought really deserved his first title reign. Even Mike Tenay made similar comments which was weird =\

Also another massive tick for this PPV was JB on commentary. So much better than Taz, fuck I hate Taz. WOW so I have no idea who wins the BFG series now? Maybe still Storm, I'll be cheering on Christopher Daniels who will once again be overlooked for whatever reason.

Do three matches really make a PPV?

I thought Angle vs Joe and Styles vs Daniels were great with Roode vs Aries being stellar, but I found the rest of the ppv very average, with the Ultimate X match being rushed and probably the worst to date. Maybe it's over exposed?
