Haha yah I've heard nothing but good stuff about it (except battery life, but I guess most smartphones suck with that - batteries need a revolution), it's most likely the option I'll end up going with.

The GS2 is a great phone, I just found it a little too "plasticky" for my taste.

I prefered the "feel" of the Sensation. Like I said earlier, it just felt like a more premium device.
Just my 2 cents.

I've had like 3 cell phones my whole life. 2001-2004, 04-10, 10-

iPhones, iPad etc... I've never even touched one.


Fuck knows what jailbreak means... I'm in my 30's now so, old.

Is that phone complicated? Been reading reviews and watching videos and it seems so complicated. Like half the stuff people say they can do on it, as opposed to can't do on the iPhone, I don't even know what it means

I don't think cellphones even existed when I was at highschool, and I remember about 5 people from my hostel first year at uni having a cellphone. Then got mine in 2001 (by which time it seems everyone all of a sudden had one) and have kept the same number since, on my fifth (and cheapest, ha!) phone now, only get a new one when the previous one finally dies/gets lost down a drain/gets stepped on.

Maybe I'll finally get a swish smartphone just as everyone moves onto the next big craze (like that time I got chatter-rings in 4th form, exactly two weeks before the fad went the way of yoyos/elastics/foxtails/kooshballs/virtual pets/slime time watches/etc)....

Yeah we never had phones either... the 4th form 'runner' (day off class to be errand boy/girl) used to bring a message to class and we had to trudge up to the office for the call.

Cellphones went viral in 2000 first year of tech for me. Every man and his woman had a Nokia 5120 block! omg texts! from one phone to another! messages from mine to yours! zomg convenience!


Fuck remember the tamagotchi craze?! Island boys (the few we had) even jumped on board. And the 4 colour pen was good for finger tricks (you'll know what I mean if you practiced in 3rd form history)

Nirvana and various other grunge acts blazened all over folders, written in twink on bags, tackle in your uniform, spray (lynx) over sweat and impulse (for the chicks) before next class....

yeh i finished high school in 2000, i think cell phones kinda took off on us in like 1998/9...

Was so awesome with the crappy plastic slide over the numbers which came off really easily and hence everyone (but me) lost it.
