I really don't think they'll move Carter away from first-five.

I forgot about Tamati Ellison. I really do like him and he shows such promise. I don't know much about Stephen Brett. I need to watch more Canterbury games.

Of course, there's still the option of have Isaea Toeava at number 12, since we also have Conrad Smith and Ma'a Nonu battling for centre (unless one of them is going overseas). Seriously, though, one of them needs to go another province so both of them can have plenty of game time in that position.

Move Conrad to 12 I think. I wouldn't be surprised to see Evans built up there and I think he'd handle it bloody well too. He's a real quality player.

Putting the best player in the world into a position where he was only originally there to gain experience, is a fricken joke.

You dont change a good thing. Carter is playing out of his skin at 10, the ABs will just have to persevere with whoever theyve got. They fucked around too much with combinations, they never actually stuck with one. Hopefully it pays off, but I wouldnt be too sure.

Oh, and Brett will be second five within 2 years.

Man, the Xtra website made a mistake with the results of the Bay of Plenty Auckland game. It said Bay Of Plenty vs Auckland 41-3...I assumed this meant that Auckland got wasted so pretty much gave up interest in the ANZ Cup
