Haha, yeah surely Chiefs is a lock, isn't it. The H2H and points start seemed so generous it felt like a trap.

The head automatically said Highlanders, some of the Cane boys (Perenara, Taylor, Jane) are playing with a lot of confidence at the moment, but the Highlanders have them sorted up front. However then you have to throw the "coming straight back from South Africa" spanner into the equation, and it's tricky.

God i dread the Blues, im not betting that game at all.

Yeh about the Highricanes, its not only the SA thing its the injuries and the constant good starts, big letdown they seem to consistently provide.

Im so torn on the Chiefs, the performance against the Lions totally fucked me for this one.....basically because they were due a letdown and i think that performance to them, was pretty obviously a letdown.
If they had of pounded the Lions by 40, i would be taking the Reds for sure.

I am very miffed that the Highlanders were away last week, when I could have gone to that bee-yootiful stadium, and this week when I could finally see a game at the Cake Tin, the Hurricanes are away to the Highlanders. Minus ten shadow points, guys.

Had a weird drive in to work today. We go hard core cut off by a car, that turned out to have 4 Hurricanes players in there. So we drove past them. Then when they decided they wanted to swing around us again, we boxed them in behind a van.

Eventually they passed us again, with the windows down staring at us. So we overtook them and I just stared at them as we did - guy in the passenger seat seemed to mouth 'motherfucker...'. This went on from Porirua all the way into town.

Made for an entertaining trip anyways... despite its randomness.

Haha I remember an all in after the whistle against there combined 1st and 2nd XV team in the late 90s, happened as the teams were walking into the changing rooms. Ahhhh memories, the guy who started it had knocked a ball on when placing it down for a try, looked at the ball when one of our boys scooped it up and went the length of the pitch for a try!
