Vincent should be there. But apart from that yeah we are definitely sucking at the moment.

Hopefully Bond is back in time for the Chappell-Hadlee.

They reckon he will be out for 6 weeks. So he's out of Chappell Hadlee and the Bangladesh ODIs

Kyle Mills is going for him. And Jamie How is going over for cover since half our team have stomach bugs. Oh, and Fleming has a sore arm and Oram's injured again.

Man Kiwis must really not like South Africa!

I hope Mills doesn't get injured. He bowls well against Australia, and personally I couldn't care less about this SA tour. Having said that I did watch a fair portion of the match. It's sad when you know we don't have a player who is world class apart from Bond.

There was hope for Taylor for awhile and I still think if he plays to his ability he will be able to be somewhat of a force, but we really lack the big name players which the likes of SA have with Gibbs, Kallis, Ntini, Boucher etc. It's for this lack of skill, that we can only truly be competitive in the 50 and 20 over format's where there is less individual skill and more of a team aspect involved.

Vettori is world class.

He was, and still is at times

I'd rank Murali, Kumble and Panesar ahead of him at test level. Bond on the otherhand is among the best pace bowlers in the world.

I can't argue with you there, only because NZ has played so few tests in the last 2 years it is impossible for me to judge. Although in the ODI format I'd definetely take Vettori over any of those three.

Yup, agreed.

I guess thats partly why we are somewhat compeitive in the one day format.

It will be interesting to see how Corey Anderson goes for the wizards. From memory he's only 16 years old and alreasy playing in NZ's top domestic competition. Hopefully he can develop into a great bowler.

He'll just be there as back-up as Cumming is on his way home. I agree though he should have been there for the tests.

For being our best cricketer ever, Richard Hadlee sure doesn't fucking know much about cricket.

Stupid lack of competitive cricket games.......thing is, if we were playing Sri Lanka and it was South Africa against the Aussies, I doubt it would be any different.

sangakara just got robbed of a third double century in 4 innings

though malinga's three sixes were great to watch, even murali's six was good.

good to see Sl's tail wag but still a good win for aus and now thats 14 in a row

Sinclair doesn't make the team because no one likes him.

He is a very arrogant, self concerned man who at times has arrived to games in a taxi because the time the bus left did not fit in with what he wanted to do.

NZ cricket is in big trouble. We have nothing and what we do have is always injured.

I think Oram needs to stop bowling and just be a batter, give the all round spot to McCullum as the keeper/batsman.

And is it time to maybe think about two different coaches for the Tests and ODI's? Bracewell goes laright at ODI but is terrible at Tests.

How about just get Bracewell out of everything. He's been there for ages.

You can buy England vs New Zealand Tickets now from Ticketek.

I just brought me and my m8s ticket to the ODI at Seddon Park and the 5-Day Match Pass to the test at Seddon Park as well

I vote to get John Wright in as our coach. Failing that bring back Steve Rixon.
