It's just the same old problem unfortunately, and that's the conversion from 50-100. They get starts and and have brain fades. We get ourselves into pretty decent positions and then blow it.

We're not going to find any better options for a top six so we're going to have to just live with it.

It's unfair to judge Wagner, you're on a hiding to nothing if you're debuting in the Windies & India. He'll be dangerous at home and in England.

But yeah things are pretty low at the moment. Lets hope a new coach can do something.

Rare Nasty sighting!!

Nz really need to get their stuff sorted and hopefully this new coach is a start of good thing. I fear it wont tho. Wernt we actually up in the rankings around the time of fleming, mcmillian, cairns etc?

I loved Graig McMillan giving his opinions on the top order the other day.

The selection of Jeetan Patel in the test squad to go to India is a real step forward for NZ cricket. Maybe he can take that test bowling average down a couple of runs to 43 or 42.

And supposedly Bolt has clean bowled Gayle before?

This test is so good so far, the two best test in a deciding test for series and number one position - such good quality!

Its Sth Africa's to lose can't see England getting up unless Trott and someone else digs in and gets a big score. As for KP he's stuffed himself I get the feeling he never got over Strauss replacing him as captain and his ego finally it seems has screwed him over.

Lastly good to see the under 19's make the semi;s of the world cup over in Aussie hopefully we'll get coverage of it ,

Anyways thats my 2 cents on cricket for now.

England completely outplayed except for when THAT South African took the South African attack apart.

After watching such a high quality series it's going to be a struggle to watch NZ against India on Thurs.

either 2-0 in the test or 1-0-1.
and 2-0 or 1-1 in the T20.

Remember India dont have VVS Laxman

Doesn't matter that they don't have Laxman, India's bowlers will probably outscore NZ's batters.
