I heard about this just not long ago, and everybody is apparently buzzing because Goldberg is going to be there. Ken fucking Shamrock is going to be there, at a pro wrestling event, and all everyone can talk about is bloody Goldberg. A Ken Shamrock wannabe. Figures. :lol: :wall:

But that's a laundry list for sure. I'm sure half them won't be wrestling, but to have all these guys in the same place at the same time is great. I'd go. Mutoh, Shamrock, Sevren, Ultimo Dragon, Nick Bockwinkle, Harley Race, etc. Fantastic. Actually, Mutoh is listed as Muta. I wonder if he's going to wear the mask and garble gibberish and throw chairs at everyone he signs autographs for. I'd love to have him record an 'I WANT BERT!' soundbyte for my mobile ringtone.



The NWA news is interesting. Apparently they have a show on cable television or something now. Well soon. Hopefully that momentum keeps up and a decent promotion starts somewhere down the line. Hardly close to being the 'number one' name in pro wrestling again (shmucks :lol:) but pretty great nonetheless. If I had a few million dollars I could lend them to develop an actual alternative to WWE, I would.

Just kidding, I'd waste it all on another fly-by-night failure of a shoot style promotion.

I know I'm probably the only one who cares, but I just watched Shibata's latest fight.
Beaten by a 21 year old Gracie. Heartbroken.

I don't think he looked completely like a bum though, defensively. Too bad that doesn't save his rep. :cry:
