Forwards: Andre Ellison, Craig West, Nathan White Aled de Malmanche, Tom Willis (captain), Vern Kamo, Mark Burman, Kent Fife, Jono Gibbes, Toby Lynn, Ben Paurini, Steven Bates , Marty Holah, Sione Lauaki, Liam Messam, Steven Setephano.

Backs: Sosene Anesi, David Bason, Stephen Donald, William Ripia, Roimata Hansell-Pune, Dwayne Sweeney, Watene Waenga, Jackson Willison, Roy Kinikinilau, Jared Payne, James Kamana.

Players unavailable for selection due to All Blacks committments at this stage are Mils Muliaina, Byron Kelleher, Keith Robinson, Sitiveni Sivivatu and Brendon Leonard.

Looks like Kamana got in Psyico. Pretty cool that you played along side a Air New Zealand Cup player.

Yeah we also have Roimata Hansell-Pune, Steven Bates and Vern Kamo as well. Plus got quite a few guys in the Elite Academy that train along side the Waikato rugby team throughout the week. Go Fraser-Tech :D haha

Woot, awesome to see Kent back in the squad. Craig Wests parents are my neighbours, rich bastards too.

Do we even have a full strength side?

Apart the obvious, it still doesn't seem like the coaches know who our best in each position are.

"Full strength" :P

I'd say they want Smith at Centre.....but they've been hoping Toeavavatuvai would make that choice far more difficult.

Apart from that.......they need to decide on the Lock combo....the rest pick themselves.

Why is Nonu not being considered for centre? He's better than Toeava and Smith.

He was horrible in the Junior All Blacks. I think they needed to start Smith during the Tri Nations to see what he's got. Though I'm guessing he'll get plenty of chances during the World Cup against the jobber teams.

Nonu should play at number 8.

Well, I like Nonu better than Toeava. He looks really out of place to me and Conrad obviously hasn't had enough game time. I guess if Nonu was shit, Toeava is the only choice.

Richard Kahui is the future though.

I've always liked Nonu as a player... Only thing's are, he can't tackle and his ball handling skills aren't the greatest... But when he get the ball and has a bit of room, he's unstoppable. He shouldn't start, he should just be on the bench and brought on like in the 65min as a impact player.

This is my top available 22 AB Squad.

1. T. Woodcock
2. K. Mealamu
3. C. Hayman
4. C. Jack
5. K. Robinson
6. J. Collins
7. R. McCaw
8. R. So'oialo
9. B. Kelleher
10. D. Carter
11. S. Sivivatu
12. A. Mauger
13. M. Muliaina
14. R. Gear
15. L. McDonald

16. A. Oliver
17. N. Tialata
18. R. Thorne
19. C. Masoe

22. M. Nonu

Is Chris Jack in there as a ball playing second rower? Woodcock doesn't make enough hitups. Kelleher doesn't dart enough from dummyhalf.

But he's the world's best loosehead scrummager. Hit ups aren't as vital from front rowers in union as they are in league anyway. Scrummaging > hitups.

I like.

I was skimming through the Rugby News magazine in the library today and it had the predicted 2011 World Cup team.

From memory the backline was:

Piri Weepu
Dan Carter
David Smith
Luke Mccasliter (sp?)
Toeava
Liam Masaga
Cory Jane

Seems pretty average.

That's a good side.....who's your cover for 12 and 13 though?.......I figure Mills moving to centre and Evans off the bench?

Aaron Major would be in my side.

<3 Nick Evans however.

Yeah that would be the plan. Or even Howlett could go at fullback and Mils to centre if Evans has to replace Carter.

And if 12 goes down.....you could push Carter out one and bring Evans on.

Mind you....we know what happened last time we played people out of position at a World Cup.

My friends call him rubber head because of this.

One more day to the game. Then no rugby for a month and a half.
