Sometimes when I try to add song files to my itunes library nothing happens, it just doesn't recognise the file it seems. I have googled the problem and a few sites said something about changing the file tags to .mp3 but for some reason I was too retarded to figure out how to do that. So anyone got the solution (in layman's terms)?
First off, renaming files is open but do bear in mind to save a copy of that song in a external hard-drive first before doing any such modifications.
Okay so with your song files, when you put it into iTunes for the first time, iTunes converts any song that is put into it into their own file (.m4a or .m4p) if this doesn't work and you don't want to fuck up the quality, download a file converter and change it there. If not follow what BNB said and you'll be sweet.

I've been trying to turn my eyetoy into a web cam, i read it is possible but fuck me i don't seem to be having any success.
Fuck, I did this years ago and suceed. Even turned the Eyetoy cam into a security cam for my room! If I remember correctly, the Eyetoy needs a specific driver that can successfully be used as a webcam. The following two sites, gets into more detail on it and one has links to download the drivers needed,

I'll skip DD's question since that got answered... but I'll reply to this...

Two options. Either get it replaced (we do that all the time) or a cooling pad COULD do a sufficient job. There is a third option of course. Have an "accident" with it if you have contents insurance. You didn't hear that from me.
I usually get mine replaced as a cooling pad is advised to be used temporarily and with a fully functional laptop...
However the third option is the greatest, my Dad used to do this all the time and we would get a better laptop as a result. You could give it to a friend or a mate to look after for a few weeks while you claim that it's stolen (Remember to have photo's taken prior for proof) Give them receipt and other info and presto, two laptops!
