Nah, it's got the same restriction on amount of files you can transfer on the trial. Thanks for trying though!

With the PS3 play TV, can I plug this into my Sky Decoder?

How do I put RAM in my laptop? I have 2GB at the moment, and then I put another 2GB in the RAM thing and turned my laptop back on but it still lists 2GB as my total RAM.

Well, firstly you need to make sure the RAM is compliant and ready to be installed; feeding it lots of grass will help, as will letting it loose in a field of ewes during late-winter, early-spring. Then, once the RAM is content and relaxed, you need to gently lead it into the laptop by waving a carrot in front of its nose.

If your computer is correctly set up, then the RAM will naturally find the place it needs to go, will tread in a circle three times, then your RAM will settle down and install itself while it sleeps. Do not start your computer up during this time, as it will wake the RAM and cause it to rampage around your living room.

Of course, if your RAM has horns, you've been sold old RAM, which will be no good to you. Try to find a young RAM instead.

What model laptop you got, because if its old (ish) it may not be able to register more than 2gb of ram so to say and regardless of if you have 2 or 4gb it will only run at 2gb ram.

It's a Toshiba Satellite C-something that I bought from DSE about three weeks ago, and paid $50 for an extra 2BG RAM which they had as a sort of package deal, so it should all be compatible.

Honestly, the first thing I would do is take it back to DSE and make them fix it.

Other than that, make sure the stick is good by removing the other one and booting just with the other one in.

Try that and get back to me.

I thought it was pretty random giving out ram sticks to customers in the first place.

We sell sticks to customers, but because of how easy they are to kill with static, we will only warranty them if we install them. Which we do for free.

Um, you have to pay? Isn't that defeating the whole point of trying to get around the new file sharing law?

(but, yes, any tips...)

I use THIS to watch Hulu and stuff. Get 100Gb free per month, so can't really complain.
