Everyone was all 'it gets really awesome after about 20 hours!'. No, it just ges slightly less linear.

I've been playing Skyrim, which isn't as omg as I'd heard. Basically consists of walking walking walking, random fight with wolf, walking, talk to someone..get told to collect bits of shit for them, walking, loading, crashing. Redoing everything again.

Weird that some of the average bandits are tougher for me than Dragons...I guess because when you fight inside its basically a hallway.

been playing ncaa football 11 again

just won the SEC championship with LSU in road to glory mode with my RB in his junior season

just one more season and ill be able to see if it will let me import my player to madden 11, be pretty cool if it does

Still playing Skyrim.... I don't think its that great...kinda boring actually. But I just spend 2 hours walking around killing shit. I think its TOO open world. Theres no real focus..I guess it has a 'main' storyline, but its too easy to get distracted into collecting flowers for some random NPC.

Plus, the dragon fights are lame. I took out 3 at one time last night. Pretty sure that shouldn't happen.

Definitely prefer Fallout.

Oh and Hardcore - Im the same as you with Phantasy Star 2 - Ive started that game three times and never finished it. Its tough because if you leave it half way, and forget where you were meant to go - its bloody tough to know what to do.

I'm playing destruction derby from Ps1 on the ps3 as its all I could find that caught my interest on PSN after friends gave me $30 PSN card.

Destruction Derby 2 was good in its time. You could do some insane stunts! Loved that track that had 2 tunnels, one of which was quite long. I remember on that track right after the finish line I smacked into a pile up and went straight up into the air for like ages.

funny I was playing this last night, got 860 something dec on the hardest level setting. But if you want an awesome challenging cricket game, get Cricket 2002 on ps2. Totally underated game. Plus it has those retro names, can do WC, World series, T20's. Not as good graphically but way more fun. Noone wants to smash it all the time, that gets boring!

Haha, yeah I remember being amazed when I first saw that, was a big step up from the DD1 demo I remember playing over and over again back in the day.

Actually pulled it out for the first time in ages a couple of weeks back (along with Resident Evil, Power Move Pro Wrestling & NBA Live 98 which were the only PS1 games handy when I had the sudden urge for the old school), was pretty fun. "Hey go easy on the paintwork!"

Loved driving the tracks in reverse!

If I'm in the mood for a quick blast I usually give "Destruction Derby Raw" a crack...plus I have a USB PS1 style controller so it really is like having a PS1 on my computer with the added bonus that all the games are FREE!! I'm still trying to find a decent PS2 emulator + ROM's though.

Been looking for this for many moons! Surprising how hard it is to find some of these shitty games that there used to be a billion copies of that nobody wanted. Finding N64 carts is weirdly difficult especially.

ftr, Destruction Derby 2 is fucking awesome. Good memories.
