haha in my opinion it is worth the few more dollars it is to buy 3 than 2010. Thats only my opinion though so if anyone else has another input..

The submissions are weird..it's like a spinning wheel thing. But is really easy to get out of.

Best moment for me was tapping out a mate about 20 seconds into round one. Run in, take down, transition to arm bar.... It was sweet...and total gloating rights.

Just bought Undisputed 3 in the Mighty Ape sale. Should arrive on Thursday. It'd better be good!

I got given a copy of ME3, having not played any of the other Mass Effect games i was expecting a FPS. At first i didn't think i'd like it but so far i am quite enoying it.

I'm kind of scared to go in there in case i get spoiled, i am already regretting one decision made in the game that i haven't even seen consquences from but as soon as i did it, i was like "ah this is going to bite me in the arse".

I'm actually enjoying UFC Undisputed 3 dispite itself. Choosing any character other than the best one in each weight class is pretty much an instant loss against anyone who knows what they're doing, which is retarded as fuck, but I guess a kind of "realism" if one wants to be pedantic. Aldo, Anderson, GSP, Bones, JDS and Lesnar are God mode. Especially in Pride rules - which in itself is fucking sweet as a game feature - but when a guy is as fast as Aldo and he starts kneeing you in the head in North/South, there's literally nothing you can do to regain any kind of advantageous position, because you can't block, and your transitions are usually slower than his strikes. So if you don't move you get KO'd in about 5 knees, and if you do try to, you get struck in the middle of your transition startup and KO'd in about 3. lol.

The removal of auto-blocking transitions makes it a totally different game from 2010 as well. More mixups, more randomness. Which is death against Lesnar or JDS. Whereas I thought the striking was slightly overpowered in 2010, the ground and pound appears to be that way this time around. Also I'm not entirely sure but there doesn't appear to be a way to exclude CAF selection when hosting a game online, which means every other game will be an instant loss if you don't painstakingly spend way-too-much-time trying to create seven characters equally as broken in each weight class.

But whatevs. Stomping on people's faces with Mark Hunt is so much fun. I'm pretty much only playing Heavyweight with Hunt and Bantamweight with Mizugaki. Ocassionally Middleweight with Okami and Bisping, who have good tools and good-enough stats, but I don't really know the matchups so I lose a lot. Meh.

I got put off by 12 and 13's fights cause I could see the characters and avoid them and also because both battle systems were a chore.

Been playing SVR 2010 which I got from JBHifi for $9 bucks the other day (along with NBA Live 09 & Guitar Hero Metallica for same price), first Smackdown game played since SVR07 (I think, whatever the one is with Batista & Cena on the cover).

Fun times, created myself in TKD gears, with an old AMOS song as my entrance music, a ridiculous entrance movie where I do the "in da house" pose from various angles captured from the ridiculous finisher my wrestling-hating flatmate created for me tonight, and got through to winning the Royal Rumble in Road-To-Wrestlemania mode.

Next step will be to create the other flatmates (and/or former flatmates) and devise some sort of crazy create-a-story thingamibob.

Now just hanging out for the PS3 Guitar Hero guitar controllers I scored off trademe the other day (along with Warriors of Rock game) so I can get back to fun times on those games. Haven't been able to play any GH since the Xbox360 brokedown mid-last year.
