On behalf of all New Zealand pro-wrestling fans, NZPWI wishes to extend its sincere gratitude to World Wrestling Entertainment, Dainty Consolidated Entertainment and Westpac Stadium for bringing the WWE SmackDown Road to Wrestlemania 22 Tour to Wellington this past weekend.

NZPWI has received mountains of feedback email over the past few days with fans calling the event "the greatest night of my life" and expressing their wishes for the WWE to return to New Zealand shores as soon as possible.

We also wish to thank Sky1 and The Rock FM for the parts they played in ensuring this event was the roaring success it turned out to be.

So once again, to all of those involved in bringing WWE action to New Zealand for the first time ever...we thank you.
