IPWA Unleashed!
Aug 06, 2007 at 09:20 PM

Impact Pro Wrestling Australia presents Unleashed on the Gold Coast on Saturday, August 11th at Nerang Bicentennial Community Centre.  Unleashed is the first show presented by IPWA (formerly MIW) since the merge with IPW New Zealand and is set to be a huge evening!

The main event will decide the first ever IPW Australian champion and will feature former NZ Warrior “The Measure” Dallas Mead taking on IPW NZ Heavyweight Champion Jon E. King,  Cruz, The Sweet Assassin, “The South Pacific Savage” Island Boy Si and one as yet unnamed opponent in a massive elimination table match for the belt!

IPWA spokesman Matt Sparnon made the following comments on Dallas Meads transition from league to wrestling:  “Mead has made the transition from footy player to professional wrestler quite easily.  The hardest part is reminding him that head high
shots and spear tackles are all legal in professional wrestling, and won't invoke the wrath of the referee."

And, IPWA’s Jackeroo is set to defend his IPW South Pacific championship against IPW NZ’s “The One” Vinny Dunn, who will be looking to bring home the gold to New Zealand, and show the Aussie boys how it’s done!

Also, there will be a tournament to determine the new IPW Women’s Champion, where three school girls Brandy Alexander, Rebecca Lane and Bella Bambina will battle it out against veteran Minx to prove who has got what it takes to hold the championship belt.
