In NZWPW’s first venture to Masterton last night, Tag Team Champions Company Gold retained their belts against fan-favourites High Octane. CD & JC Star came close to taking the victory and the coveted spot of being the #1 tag team in NZWPW, but Company Gold managed to hold onto the titles via count out. With the scheduled main event of Adam Avalanche vs. D-Hoya out of the question when D-Hoya was unable to make it to the event, Adam Avalanche issued an open challenge that was answered by Emo Boy. Avalanche took out his frustration on the miniscule challenger and defeated him with ease. Later in the night, Adam Avalanche and “Dream Catcher” Phil Woodgate teamed up to take on Emo Boy again, and his partner Infinity. Having taken on Adam Avalanche at NZWPW’s Fight Night Out, Infinity seemed like an appropriate choice for a partner, until he turned on Emo Boy and began to beat him down with Adam Avalanche - making the match be declared a no contest.
