Kiwi-born wrestler Adam Dykes - known as Adam Firestorm - has passed away, according to a Figure Four Weekly report.

F4w's Bryan Alvarez says Dykes, a friend for over 15 years, passed away this weekend. The cause of his death is unclear at this point.

Born in New Zealand into a family steeped in the creative arts, Dykes developed an interest in wrestling after his family relocated to Canada when he was young. He established his own wrestling magazine, called Northwest Wrestler, before going active as El Entorcha in 1996.

Adam Firestorm had recently announced to readers in the NZPWI forum community that he was considering a return to New Zealand.
