In other NZWPW news, the promotion will be holding their first show of the year, Bringing Down the House, this Friday (January 29) at the He Toa Gym in Petone. The main event of the show will see former six-time NZWPW Champion D-Hoya challenge the reigning champ, Rufguts, for the title. Rufguts claimed the belt in controversial fashion at Movember late last year - will he be able to defeat D-Hoya for a second time?

NZWPW Bringing Down the House takes place at the He Toa Gym this Friday from 7.30pm, with doors opening at 7pm. Tickets are available on the door or in advance from the He Toa Gym at a rate of $15 for adults and $10 for children. The card, subject to change, is as follows.
