The New Zealand Pro Wrestling Informer (NZPWI) is New Zealand's #1 pro-wrestling website - and we don't want to coin a phrase, but it's a site made by New Zealanders, for New Zealanders.

We are dedicated to bringing you all the latest information from a kiwi perspective and guarantee that if it's pro-wrestling related news in New Zealand, you'll read the official word here before any other single media source!

Created in April 1999 and going on to become one of the longest serving professional wrestling sites on the Internet, NZPWI has amassed millions of hits and has been the mouthpiece for New Zealand pro-wrestling fans for ten years. Amongst our proudest achievements are:

• promoting the biggest New Zealand-based professional wrestling event in over 20 years: The NZPWI Invitational. The 2006 and 2007 events were highly successful shows, both being aired on SKY’s the BOX
  
  
• working directly with the promoters of the WWE RAW, SmackDown and ECW tours to New Zealand, in a consultation and promotional role since 2003 (including making the first official public announcement regarding the shows)
  
  

• working directly with Total Nonstop Action (TNA) to raise the promotion’s profile in New Zealand (including running competitions with the promotion)
  
  

• working directly with World Wrestling All-Stars (WWA) for the WWA Reckoning show in New Zealand in May 2003

NZPWI also prides itself on being the mouthpiece for New Zealand pro-wrestling fans - a role it continues to this very day. NZPWI lists among its achievements successfully campaigning Sky Television to purchase and air the following programs:

In addition, NZPWI have been involved in Sky’s wrestling specials for WWE tours. Editor-In-Chief Dion McCracken co-hosted the 2007 WWE In New Zealand show, as well as WWA: The Reckoning.

We have open communication with local promotions, television networks, video distributors and others in the industry and get up to date information as it relates to New Zealanders. Those in the business – both locally and internationally - contact us to ensure you as fans have the information at the earliest possible moment and we are constantly used as a resource by these industries to put across the fan's point of view.
