Main Event: Tensai feels the funk

The Miz interviewed Ryback on Miz TV, and as expected this riled Antonio Cesaro enough that he charged down to the ring, and another match between Big Hungry and the Swiss-born United States Champion got underway.  Tensai also appeared willing to accept the fan adulation that came with shaking his sizable booty, and with a bit of help from The Funkasaurus Brodus Clay Tensai chalked up a victory over Titus O’Neil of the Prime Time Players.

"Thanks for having me," said Ryback, looming over The Miz as he walked onto the set of Miz TV.  "I'm a really big fan of your show."  "Really?" replied Miz, as Ryback sat down on a chair. "Really." "Really?"  "REALLY."  "That's funny because last time you were on this show instead of sitting down you picked up this couch and hurled it over the top rope," questioned Miz.  "I didn't realise how comfortable these chairs actually are" came Ryback's deadpan reply.

"Well, if you're dishing out the compliments," continued Miz with a grin across his face, "why don't you feed me more?"  Ryback simply turned his head and glared at Miz who stopped smiling to say "yeah, that did sound better in my head."

"Ok," continued Miz, "well we haven't got a lot in common, but what we do share is that neither of us like your opponent this week on WWE Main Event, United States Champion Antonio Cesaro. Now, last week..."

"Last week Cesaro ran like a dog," interrupted Ryback. "This week he won't be so lucky."

And it looked that Ryback's words were proving to be accurate, as this week Cesaro found himself more completely trapped by the big man, and with strength and power Ryback wore down the resolute Swiss, sapping the lanky former rugby player of his strength.  Cesaro again attempted to make an escape, but Ryback was right on top of him, and the United States Champion's escape ended miserably with a series of body slams into the steel ramp leading down to the ring.

Ryback then rolled Cesaro back into the ring to beat the ten count, but the wily Swiss was expecting this and he continued rolling across the ring, rolling under the ropes by the announcer's desk just as Ryback was hauling himself back into the ring by the ropes.  Miz stood from his commentator's chair, only to eat a big boot in the face by Cesaro, and then the Champion stepped over the safety barrier and bolted for safety, once again leaving the frustrated Ryback seething in the ring as another chance for a clean victory over the United States Champion slipped from his grasp.

Backstage Tensai found himself mocked for his dancing on RAW by the Prime Time Players, and when Brodus Clay came forward to offer Tensai a bit of comfort by saying "hey, it was funny, y'know?" Tensai stormed off with a "no, I don't gotta know!"

But nonetheless Clay and his Funkadactyls came down to the ring to lend Tensai support as he went one-on-one with Titus O'Neil, the Funkasaurus appearing at just the moment Darren Young was looking to do some illegal damage to Tensai with his hair pick.  With Clay and his girls watching Young outside of the ring the vicious Tensai was able to focus his attention on O'Neil and, with the fans building in their support of the international star Tensai started to feel it.  As Clay shouted from ringside "feel the funk! Feel the funk!" Tensai indeed got funky, ending O'Neil with a booty shake and a seated senton.  After the bout Clay and the Funkadactyls entered the ring, inviting Tensai to join them in dancing, and with a shrug the big tattooed man got down with the funk.
