After being bound and beaten on Raw during what was supposed to be a bodyslam challenge, Del Rio waited for Big Show to arrive in the arena's parking lot, metal pipe in hand. When Big Show eventually arrived at the arena, having made Del Rio spent most of the night outside, the World Heavyweight Champion lashed out at the giant and wrecked a car or two before sending Big Show hastily driving away again. Del Rio then headed inside for a main event, non-title clash with Mr Money in the Bank, Dolph Ziggler. Momentum swung back and forth between Del Rio and Ziggler, flanked by AJ and Big E Langston at ringside, before Del Rio built enough of an advantage to take to the top rope. Ziggler countered a double axehandle smash with a dropkick but could not put Del Rio down for the pin. Ziggler swung wildly at the World Heavyweight Champion but Del Rio ducked the shot and countered with his cross amrbreaker, which made Ziggler tap out. Before Del Rio could celebrate a good ending to the night, Big Show appeared on the SmackDown screen from backstage, accompanied by Ricardo Rodriguez. Big Show warned Del Rio he would be in for a world of hurt if he were to try anything like his parking lot assault again before introducing Rodriguez to his WMD knockout blow. Del Rio hurtled backstage to try and save his friend but Big Show was long gone, for the second time in the evening, before the World Heavyweight Champion could get there. While Del Rio's attention is firmly on Big Show, several other men on the SmackDown roster have their sights set on Del Rio's World Heavyweight Championship. "All-American American" Jack Swagger returned to SmackDown to defeat Kofi Kingston with an ankle lock and state his claim to the world title. Sheamus tried to impress SmackDown General Manager Booker T with a win against Damien Sandow but did not pick up anything more than a disqualification when The Shield hit the ring to lay waste to the Celtic Warrior. Former champion Randy Orton overcame Wade Barrett in singles action proving he too was capable of pulling off a win in a big match situation. Team Hell No, both former world champions, meanwhile, were upset by Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara in tag team action. The last man in the mix, The Great Khali, made short work of brother-in-law Jinder Mahal, before celebrating moving one step closer to another world title with Hornswoggle and Natalya.
