Booker T made a match between the former tag team champions after Big Show and Jericho started a war of words at the top of the night. With no guarantee either man would make it to the WrestleMania main event, they should wrestle tonight, the SmackDown GM decided. Unfortunately for Jericho, just days away from one of the most dangerous matches in all WWE, he fell victim to a knockout WMD from Big Show. Jericho tried to give Big Show a Codebreaker which was changed to a DDT when Big Show blocked his opponent's signature move. With Big Show on the mat, Jericho tried to turn the giant over for the Walls of Jericho. Unable to move Big Show into position, Jericho waited for Show to get up and rushed toward him only to be struck down with a knockout right hand. Will Big Show's momentum carry over to Elimination Chamber? Mark Henry clashed with Randy Orton in a rematch from last week's SmackDown. The Viper proved he wasn't interested in winning the bout when he left the ring to retrieve a steel chair - which he smashed into Henry's abdomen for a disqualification. Henry wasn't down and out though, and gave Orton the World's Strongest Slam before the two meet inside the Elimination Chamber on pay-per-view today. After the match, Henry told Matt Striker there would be a need for law enforcement officials at Elimination Chamber because "nobody, and I mean nobody, is stopped my road to WrestleMania". Tamina, the number one contender to the Divas Championship, made short work of former champ Layla in one-on-one action. The Superfly Splash put Layla down for the three and sent current champ Kaitlyn a clear message that Tamina means business at Elimination Chamber. The Rock and CM Punk exchanged words - with Punk appearing via satellite - on SmackDown, ahead of their WWE Championship match at Elimination Chamber. With a disqualification or count out for The Rock resulting in a title change, Punk told his opponent he did not care whether Punk beat The Rock or The Rock beat himself. Either way, the result would be the same, Punk said, and the night would end with the WWE Championship back around his waist. Brodus Clay and Tensai took down 3MB with relative ease but were ransacked by The Shield after the match. The trio triple powerbombed Clay before Dean Ambrose picked up a microphone to let his Elimination Chamber opponents know things would be unfolding similarly at the pay-per-view. "Don't you dare think that [at Elimination Chamber] it's going to look any different!" Ambrose exclaimed. "John Cena, Sheamus and Ryback, you will learn the hard way that your actions have consequences ... you will believe in the Shield." The Miz, still suffering the effects of an assault from Antonio Cesaro on Raw, managed to pull off a victory against Cody Rhodes. The second-generation star looked dominant against Miz, but the former WWE Champion showed his experience when he was able to trap Rhodes in a figure-four leg-lock and pick up a submission before his United States Championship opportunity at Elimination Chamber.
