Cody's moustache proved to be a point of contention for Sheamus - and Divas Champion Kaitlyn - in a backstage confrontation with Rhodes and then a target when the Celtic Warrior nailed Rhodes with a Brogue Kick in the ring. Prior to being kicked in the face, Rhodes struggled to match Sheamus in the opening moments of the bout. The formerly dashing competitor was thrown from the ring and slammed against the commentary table before managing to escape back between the ropes. A Beautiful Disaster rocked Sheamus back in the ring and gave Rhodes a chance to dictate the pace of the match. Rhodes continued to grind Sheamus down, with Kaitlyn presumably watching the match backstage, until the Irish Curse levelled the playing field for both men. Sheamus dished out some Irish Hand Grenades to Rhodes in the ropes before rushing at Cody in the corner and connecting with the ring post. Rhodes then dove off the top rope with a moonsault to take Sheamus down for a near fall. Sheamus pulled Rhodes to the mat with a roll-up for a two-count and attempted to lock in the Irish Cloverleaf. Cody answered with a big knee and set the Great White up for Cross Rhodes. Sheamus broke free of Rhodes' grip and sprang into action with a big Brogue Kick, knocking Rhodes down and leaving him incapacitated for the victory. Despite the loss, Rhodes still managed to run into Divas Champion Kaitlyn backstage after his bout. "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry made short work of Justin Gabriel, crushing the South African with a World's Strongest Slam. Gabriel attempted to keep Henry at bay with a series of kicks as the match began, but Mark fired back with kicks of his own before crushing Gabriel with a Vader Bomb out of the corner and finishing him with his signature slam.
