Both men jostled for position in the opening moments of the match before a spear from Big Show put the giant firmly in control. Big Show continued to work over Orton's ribs - now weakened from having 500lbs driven against them - before missing an elbow drop which allowed Orton to follow up with a DDT, avoiding a chokeslam. The action spilled outside and Orton continued to target Big Show's head, ramming it against the ring post before moving Big Show to the apron and bringing him back between the ropes with a rope-assisted DDT. Suddenly The Shield appeared through the crowd, surrounding the ringside area ready to strike, until Sheamus rushed down the entryway for an all-out brawl. Big Show got back to his feet in the chaos and clocked Roman Reigns with a knockout shot. Ambrose and Rollins grabbed their fallen comrade and dragged him over the security barricade to the safety of the crowd. The giant turned his attention back to the ring and dropped Orton with a chokeslam but Sheamus blasted the giant with a Brogue Kick to stand tall with Randy Orton at the end of the broadcast. World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio stopped Hall of Famer Jim Ross from being the brunt of Jack Swagger's All-American aggression earlier in the evening. Swagger and his mentor Zeb Colter were being interviewed by Good Ol' JR but things soon took a turn for the worse when Ross disagrees with Colter's extreme opinions on immigration in America, among other things. Swagger swatted JR's hat from his head and appeared ready to make things physical before Del Rio - fresh off a victory over Damien Sandow - hit the ring and made Swagger beat a hasty retreat. Antonio Cesaro proved no American could beat him for the United States Championship with a two-out-of-three falls victory against The Miz. Cesaro took the first fall with his Neutraliser but was caught off-guard by Miz's figure four and had to submit to the hold, tying things up at 1-1. As the third-and-final fall drew closer, Miz accidentally knocked down the referee before taking Cesaro to the mat and covering him. With no referee, the match continued, and Cesaro rolled his challenger up - with a fistful of tights - as soon as the official recovered to narrowly retain his title. SmackDown Results:
