World Wrestling Entertainment has today announced that NZPWI fans will have an exclusive pre-sale for the first ever WWE Live Event in New Zealand.
The SmackDown Road to WrestleMania 22 event will visit Westpac Stadium, Wellington on March 4, 2006.
Six pricing tiers have been announced and are as follows:
Angled seating on the arena floor. Some seats may have views restricted at times by the ring roof pillars, but will at all times have views of the various stage, ring and Stadium video screens.
Third tier seating on the arena floor were you can enjoy the action and the spectacle of WWE. Great for families who want to be close to the action!
Northern grandstand seating between Aisles 31-4. This section will have great views of the entry stage and ring. Perfect for families and priced accordingly .
The centre grandstand seating aisles on the East and West sides of the field. Some of the best seats in the house with non-obstructed views of the entry stage, ring and all video screens.
The arena floor, down among the action including the areas near the entrance stage and ramp.
The first ten rows around the ring enclosure. The ticket price includes a special souvenir ticket pass and your own collectable folding chair, which can be taken home with you at the end of the show.
As previously announced, general on sale of tickets begins on Monday November 7 with an Internet “pre-sale” beginning on Thursday, November 3.
However, NZPWI visitors will get access to a “pre-pre-sale” beginning on Tuesday, October 25 from 9am and ending on Wednesday, November 2 at 5pm.
All ticket classes will be available during this pre-pre-sale and the first 500 buyers will receive free accreditation to the Sky1 SmackDown Lounge (which has a cash bar and food) to soak up the atmosphere before the event begins.

The pre-pre-sale offer will also be made available to Sky’s WWE pay-per-view subscribers, Westpac online banking members and VISA Entertainment.
“We have made sure that there are plenty of seats available in all areas to meet demand from NZPWI fans and if you do miss out on our favourite ring side seat then there will be a further Diamond allocation released during the web and public on-sales in November,” says Westpac Stadium’s Steve Thompson.
