NZPWI has today been informed that, due to the seriousness of Batista’s tricep injury, he is not expected to visit New Zealand to compete in the WWE SmackDown Road to Wrestlemania 22 Tour event in Wellington on March 4.
Batista is said to be highly upset with the prognosis which will see him miss Royal Rumble and possibly even WrestleMania 22 itself.
The news of Batista’s withdrawal comes soon after the announcement earlier this week that The Undertaker had joined the tour party.
