A contingent of New Zealanders will be in action across the ditch tonight at MCW Clash of the Titans in Melbourne.
Travis Banks is set to be part of a triple threat match against two of Australia’s standouts.
Banks takes on Western Australian Chris Vice and Victorian veteran Krackerjak in a match that could steal the show.
All three men have something to prove. Banks and Vice are not regular MCW competitors, while Krackerjak is making his return to the promotion after most of a year away.
Will Banks be able to improve his Australian record and cap off the week with a win?
One match of interest to New Zealander—and the Australian women’s wrestling scene—regardless of its outcome is Evie vs. Storm.
Evie has wrestled around Australia in the past, including NHPW in Perth and Sydney’s PWA, but has yet to meet Queensland-based Storm in her travels.
That changes tonight when the two New Zealand women clash in a trans-Tasman battle.
Also at Clash of the Titans, Marcus Kool and Slade Mercer team up with an as-yet-unannounced partner to form Team New Zealand against three up-and-coming MCW athletes flying the flag for Australia.
