New Zealand wrestler Mana of The Samoan Tribe in MLW suffered a minor foot injury in July in a six-man tag team match. Mana was paired with Jamal (of 3 Minute Warning fame) and ECW’s Pitbull Gary Wolfe, as the trio defeated Tito Santana, Virgil and Samu.
Mana is expected to return to MLW on August 22.
Meanwhile, IPW’s The Machine leaves for Australia today in a bid to become WCWA’s King of the Ring on Saturday night. This will be The Machine’s fourth appearance for WCWA on the Gold Coast, and he’s hoping to bring the coveted title home to New Zealand.
