In front of a raucous, sold-out crowd at Vector Arena in Auckland, John Cena hit the Attitude Adjustment on Big Show, and Triple H followed with the Pedigree to get the pin and the win in the main event of WWE’s Raw tour to New Zealand, Friday, July 3.
The atmosphere positively tingled when Cena entered the arena and it went up a notch again when Triple H entered to deafening applause, and from there it was all on in a massive tag team main event as they joined WWE Champion Randy Orton and his partner, Big Show, in the ring.
While the match seemed to swing the way of Triple H and Cena in the early goings, it was soon turned around when The Game was isolated from his partner by Randy Orton and Big Show.
When Triple H finally got to his corner and tagged in Cena it looked like the tide of the match would turn as Cena got some momentum, taking to Show and Orton with flying forearms and blows.
Randy Orton interfered from the outside, pummeling at Cena with a flurry of kicks while Big Show distracted the referee, but Triple H was having none of it and chased Orton with a chair from ringside.
There was a melee in the ring and Orton was clotheslined out by Triple H, and Big Show was outnumbered. Cena hoisted him to his shoulders and hit the Attitude Adjustment and Triple H, the legal man, quickly hit the Pedigree, covered Big Show and got the three-count to pick up the win for his team to thunderous applause.
