Ben Mana and “The Adrenaline Rush” Taylor Adams venture south to Blenheim tonight, going one-on-one at SCW Marlborough Mayhem.
2012 has been an amazing year for Ben Mana. The Modern Maori Warrior has gone from strength to strength, starting with his victory at NZWPW Over the Top.
Mana is now the number one contender for the vacant NZWPW Championship, and will compete for the belt at Power Play. As such, Mana will be looking to build his momentum as much as possible before NZWPW’s marquee show, starting with a win in Blenheim tonight.
Taylor Adams has had a respectable 2012 too though. The Adrenaline Rush and partner Mikey Rave are the number one contenders to the NZWPW Tag Team Championships.
Adams will be looking to build momentum for his tag team title match in Newtown next week – but also to impressive the Blenheim crowd in a rare homecoming.
Adams began his career as Kid Mystique in SCW, but soon migrated north and set up camp at NZWPW. Now, Adams returns to Blenheim as part of the NZWPW roster, but will still surely be a fan favourite with the Blenheim locals.

SCW Marlborough Mayhem takes place tonight, May 19, at the Marlborough Boys College, Stephenson Street, Blenheim. Doors open at 6.30pm with the action starting at 7pm. Tickets are available on the door for $10. The card, subject to change, is listed below.
