WWE WrestleMania 37 descends on Tampa Bay this weekend. We’ve unearthed 10 iconic images from the last 10 years, courtesy of WWE Network, that show why WrestleMania truly is the Grandest Stage of Them All!

Edge, WrestleMania 27

No one knew at the time, but WrestleMania 27 would be Edge’s last for nine long years. The Rated-R Superstar defended his World Heavyweight Championship in the opening match of the night before vacating the title 24 hours later due to a neck injury. Edge wouldn’t return to the ring until 2020, and wouldn’t compete for a world title until this Monday’s WrestleMania — David Dunn

End of an Era, WrestleMania 28

The “End of an Era” Hell in a Cell Match was a defining moment in WrestleMania history. This was the culmination of a four-year rivalry with The Undertaker against both Shawn Michaels and Triple H, and the epic 20-0 milestone in Undertaker’s legendary streak! — Sammy G

Cesaro, WrestleMania 30

The Swiss Superman, Cesaro, entered the ring at WrestleMania 30 with something to prove as he battled 30 other WWE Superstars in the inaugural 31-Man Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. As the field was cleared, it came down to Cesaro and Big Show. In a display of superhuman strength, Cesaro scooped up the World’s Largest Athlete and bodyslammed him out of the ring for the victory — AJ Murtagh

Seth Rollins, WrestleMania 31

It was aptly dubbed “the heist of the century” when Seth Rollins shockingly stormed the main event of WrestleMania 31 to physically interject himself into the match between WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar and Royal Rumble winner Roman Reigns. After The Big Dog and The Beast had brutalised each other in and out of the ring, it was Seth Rollins who took advantage, cashing in his Money in the Bank and ending the night with the championship held high! — AJ Murtagh

Women’s Championship, WrestleMania 32

Banks vs. Flair vs. Lynch was already one of the most anticipated matches at WrestleMania 32 but a groundbreaking announcement upped the stakes even more. In front of a record-setting 101,763 fans, WWE Hall of Famer Lita announced that WWE Divas would now be referred to as Superstars, just like their male counterparts, and unveiled a brand-new Women’s Championship — David Dunn

Charlotte Flair, WrestleMania 33

Ric Flair’s in-ring career came to an end in a classic bout against Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 24 in Orlando, Florida. Nine years later, Charlotte Flair strutted her way down the ramp at Camping World Stadium, looking every bit as regal as her father, to continue the Flair legacy on the Grandest Stage of Them All — David Dunn

KofiMania, WrestleMania 35

After more than a decade with WWE and a standout performance inside the Elimination Chamber, Kofi Kingston found himself riding a wave of momentum and support from the WWE Universe in early 2019. After earning a title match at WrestleMania, Kofi bested WWE Champion Daniel Bryan to capture the title and share an emotional celebration with his New Day brothers, Big E and Xavier Woods — AJ Murtagh

Becky 2 Belts, WrestleMania 35

Becky Lynch stormed into the history books at WrestleMania 35. Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Ronda Rousey took part in the first-ever women’s main event at a WrestleMania but Lynch was the ultimate winner on the night, taking home both Flair’s SmackDown Women’s Championship and Rousey’s Raw Women’s Championship to become #Becky2Belts — David Dunn

The Last Ride, WrestleMania 36

In his final WrestleMania moment to date, Mark Calaway unleashed the ultimate hybrid version of The Undertaker, paying homage to his past in the Boneyard Match against AJ Styles before riding off into the darkness — Sammy G

Drew McIntyre, WrestleMania 36

© WWE Network. All Rights Reserved.

With the whole world plunged into lockdown in early 2020, the future of WrestleMania was in doubt and with it, the scheduled match between WWE Champion Brock Lesnar and Drew McIntyre. Ultimately WrestleMania would take place inside the WWE Performance Center without fans in attendance. After a volley of Claymore Kicks, McIntyre emerged victorious as the new WWE Champion in a surreal but unforgettable moment — AJ Murtagh

WrestleMania 37 streams live from 12pm (NZST) Sunday, April 11 and Monday, April 12 on Sky Arena & WWE Network.
