An open challenge saw the continuation of Hughes Academy Champion Spartan’s heated rivalry with Horus this past Saturday night.
Champion and challenger tore into each other during a hard-hitting main event at Wrestling at the Water’s Edge.
Knowing each other so well, neither man proved able to land their signature moves. The evenly-fought contest came to an end when Spartan caught Horus with an inside cradle to retain his title.
Spartan will now need to shift his attention to the new number one contender, Bobby Wisheart, who overcame Kartik and Kid Nova earlier in the evening.
