Ten tons of steel, two miles of chain – the Elimination Chamber is back on the Road to WrestleMania.

Six Raw Superstars will subject themselves to the brutal demands of the Elimination Chamber in an attempt to become (or remain, in the case of defending-champ Theory) United States Champion.

Women from both Raw and SmackDown will enter the Chamber for a chance to challenge Bianca Belair when WrestleMania Goes Hollywood.

Who’s a lock to emerge from the Elimination Chamber with a win? Join the NZPWI Roundtable as we break down the card for WWE Elimination Chamber 2023.

* * *

United States Championship Elimination Chamber Match:
Austin Theory (c) vs. Bronson Reed vs. Damian Priest vs. Johnny Gargano vs. Montez Ford vs. Seth Rollins

David Dunn (100% accurate for Royal Rumble):
Austin Theory’s already associated with one of the Elimination Chamber’s wildest moments, courtesy of Brock Lesnar. Another year older, and more experienced, I have a feeling this time around he’ll be able to deliver a more favourable result.
Winner: Austin Theory

Steve McCleary (100% accurate for Royal Rumble):
C’mon, who’s gonna bet against Theory these days? Normally my money is on Seth, but with such a wild array of talent, it’s more likely they’ll all weaken each other – and that’s when Theory tends to strike.
Winner: Austin Theory

Grady Hooker (80% accurate for Royal Rumble):
This is a great crop of talent who I’d all love to see win this match. They each have a chance and I could pick any of them here and be confident in my pick, so I’ll default to the champion retaining and Austin Theory showing us he can go at this high level.
Winner: Austin Theory

AJ Murtagh (60% accurate for Royal Rumble):
Austin Theory is on a roll and I can see him wanting to erase the memory of Brock Lesnar destroying him at Elimination Chamber 2022. Whether we like it or not, Theory is on the verge of a breakout 2023 and a victory in the Chamber will set the tone for the coming year.
Winner: Austin Theory

Sammy G (60% accurate for Royal Rumble):
With Rhea Ripley heading into WrestleMania to challenge for the SmackDown Women’s Championship, this is a prime opportunity for Damian Priest to bring US gold into The Judgement Day and further inspire his stablemate(s) on a path of conquest!
Winner: Damian Priest

Number 1 Contender’s Elimination Chamber Match to the Raw Women’s Championship:
Asuka vs. Carmella vs. Liv Morgan vs. Natalya vs. Nikki Cross vs. Raquel Rodriguez

David:
It’s been tough to bet against Asuka at the best of times, but with this new look and attitude? No one is ready for Asuka!
Winner: Asuka

Steve:
This one is hard. I’m almost picking Asuka, because of her renewed energy and focus, but I’d prefer to see the power battle between Rodriguez and Belair.
Winner: Raquel Rodriguez

Grady:
Asuka scares me with her new attitude! Whoever is standing across from her in this match is going to have a bad time. Slim shot for Raquel Rodriguez, but I’ll go with my gut and Asuka.
Winner: Asuka

AJ:
This is a tough call. My heart says Liv Morgan while my head says Asuka. That said, Carmella could be a dark horse winner. I almost need to flip a coin but I’m calling it, Asuka is going to WrestleMania.
Winner: Asuka

Sammy:
Asuka’s recent reinvention/restoration has tapped into a reignited part of herself that could see her single-handedly taking out all the other competitors in this Chamber. She’s set her sights on the Raw Women’s Championship, and is on a one-way Road to WrestleMania!
Winner: Asuka
