New Zealand Wide Pro Wrestling (NZWPW) celebrates the past and present of the New Zealand wrestling scene tonight at Legends Reunion in Lower Hutt.
The Lower Hutt Horticultural Hall has long been a hotbed for wrestling action and will play host to men and women from almost every active New Zealand promotion for tonight’s event.
With the likes of Bruno Bekkar and John da Silva in attendance, Ben Mana will defend the NZWPW Championship against the man who inspired him to first become a wrestler, Adam Avalanche.
The unlikely pairing of Axl and Skull Kid look to upset Chad Howard and Paul Sayers, the 20/20 Experience, with the NZWPW tag team titles on the line.
Johnny Idol and Taylor Adams continue their feud with the Nobodies, JC Star and SCW Champion “Rufguts” Roddy Gunn.
In inter-promotional action, veteran competitors D-Hoya and Graham Hughes meet for the first time ever – while Kiwi Pro Wrestling (KPW) stars Charlie Roberts and Shane Sinclair go one-on-one just one day before Sinclair’s KPW Championship match at Halloween Howl 7.
NZWPW Legends Reunion takes place today, November 1, at the Lower Hutt Horticultural Hall. Doors open at 7pm with the first match starting at 7.30pm. Tickets are available on the door ($15 for adults, $10 for children). The card, subject to change, is listed below.
