WWE NXT is coming to New Zealand for the first time ever this December as part of the brand’s biggest international tour to date.
NXT holds its first New Zealand event on Monday, December 5, at The Trusts Arena in Auckland. The NXT roster then travels to the TSB Bank Arena in Wellington for a second event on Tuesday, December 6. Tickets to both events go on sale Monday, September 5.
NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura, NXT Women’s Champion Asuka, Samoa Joe, and Bayley are currently advertised for the tour, which also includes six dates in Australia.
“We couldn’t be more excited to continue the explosive international growth of NXT and bring the hard hitting excitement of our live shows and larger than life Superstars to Australia and New Zealand for the first time,” said Paul Levesque (AKA Triple H), WWE Executive Vice President, Talent, Live Events and Creative.
The eight-event, 10-day tour of Australia and New Zealand will be NXT’s second international venture of the year. The brand has live events scheduled to take place in Canada in September.
Several members of the WWE NXT roster are Australian, including Billie Kay, Murphy, Peyton Royce, and TM61 (Nick Miller and Shane Thorne).
