When the Superstars of NXT arrive in Austin, Texas an English-New Zealander is one of the feature attractions.
The Great American Bash hosts an anything-goes “Weapons Wild” Match between Blair Davenport (FKA Bea Priestley) and Roxanne Perez live from 12pm (NZST) this Monday, July 31.
Davenport, 27, made an impact when she revealed herself as the hooded attacker of Nikkita Lyons, Sol Ruca, and Roxanne Perez. But while Lyons and Ruca sat at home nursing injuries, Perez fought back.
Davenport defeated Perez on a July 4 edition of WWE NXT. Will the result be the same in Perez’s home state of Texas?
“Either you have that killer instinct or you don’t,” Davenport told her opponent, “and we both know that I do because you’ve experienced it, and you will again at The Bash.
“But this time it’s going to be worse because I’m going to hurt you.
“But the good news is Austin’s only a short drive away from Laredo. So when I’m done with you, just go home. Don’t even bother coming back to Orlando because you don’t belong here any more.”
Davenport and Perez have since come to blows outside the ring everywhere from a grocery store to a gaming convention. With all that animosity, an anything-goes brawl with weapons actively encouraged should settle the score once and for all at The Great American Bash.
