AEW Women’s Champion Toni Storm is set to defend her title next week.

Storm, 27, will put the AEW Women’s Championship on the line against the winner of a four-way bout to take place on AEW Rampage (Saturday, 2pm NZST) between Dr Britt Baker DMD, Mercedes Martinez, Nyla Rose, and Skye Blue.

“We will be watching,” Storm warned her potential challengers, “because the winner is gonna be facing the greatest AEW Women’s Champion that ever lived.”

Storm can legitimately claim to be the greatest AEW Women’s Champion as the only two-time holder of the title. She first took home the gold at All Out 2022, and avenged a loss to Jamie Hayter with a second title win at Double or Nothing this past May.

Since overcoming Hayter, Storm has already defended the AEW Women’s Championship twice at AEW House Rules events.

Next week’s title bout will be held in Washington DC, the site of the first AEW Dynamite in October 2019 where Riho defeated Nyla Rose to become the first AEW Women’s Champion.
