2024 saw Cody Rhodes finish his story, and in first-place as Best Male Wrestler. The Undisputed WWE Champion also claimed Best Match for his Bloodline Rules bout against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL.
Much like 2022 and 2023, NZPWI readers voted Horus as Best Male Wrestler in New Zealand. Horus was also part of New Zealand’s Best Match, the Steel Cage at IPW Nightmare Before Christmas.
Sir Mr Burns, who placed third in the Best Male Wrestler category, mistakenly announced himself today as “Greatest Defensive Wrestler of All-Time”—a category not currently recognised by NZPWI.
New Zealand-born Toni Storm was voted Best Female Wrestler (International). At home, the honour goes to Frankie Quinn for a record fifth consecutive time.
