The brash superstar refuses to acknowledge the way he won the title as dishonest as he points out he himself was screwed out of the belt during the Invasion tour. "Considering what happened at the Invasion Porirua show (my last title shot), where N.O.S rolled Island Boy Stupid-Brains on top of ME for the win, I thought it was quite ironic and deserving that I won the way I did, and as fairly as I did." Juice's win signalled the end of an incredible nine-month reign from Island Boy Si, which saw him fend off all challengers. So the question is, who's first in line in the Champ's eyes for a shot at his newly won prize? The Champ recently gave NZPWI a list of the top 3 challengers that he would like to face in the ring. "My good buddy The Ram deserves a shot, because much like myself, he has not had the luxurious path to the top unlike other 'wrestlers' in NZWPW. I would like to once again go one-on-one with N.O.S, as if it wasn't for him I would have had the gold around my waist at Porirua. Lastly Inferno of all people, you may ask, why? But don't you worry... I still hate the guy, he is still worthless, he is still nothing." It is quite obvious that the new man on top of NZWPW isn't afraid of anyone in the locker room, and why would he be? With fellow Death Sentence members The Ram, The Punisher and X-Rated backing him every match, Juice really shouldn't have anything to fear. Despite the volatile nature of this group, Juice is apparently feeling quite safe with his 3 main men behind him. "Since then, The Ram and the rest of the Death Sentence boys have been nothing but supportive, and I have nothing to fear with them around."
Despite how he won the title, one can not deny that Juice has earned his chance at the top of NZWPW, a 2 year journey that finally culminated at this past month's Eruption II and as the newly crowned Champion puts it, "I have had my ups and downs, seen a lot of people come and go, have had my fair share of victories and losses, and right through to now, present day NZWPW, I stand the NZ Heavyweight Champion. In the end I overcame everything that was thrown in front of me." So just what is next for Juice, and what does this mean for NZWPW? "As for my future in-ring... the era of Juice has just begun. I can only wait and see who my first challenger is. But one thing that we all know for certain - they're gonna have to be damn good to beat me." With the attitude the new Champ has had the past few months one thing is for sure, and that is there will be a line of stars waiting for their shot at the gold. The Champ however, has a message for anybody within NZWPW who is thinking about a title shot. "Just know that you will fall behind me, you will cry and beg for mercy, cause you've all got nothing on me." With the belt now around his waist, a willing gang of lackeys at his back to back him up and a locker room full of superstars wanting their chance at glory, one thing is for certain. The era of Juice in NZWPW will certainly be a busy one. |
