IPW Breakdown postponed?

Controversy has surrounded the IPW Breakdown event, originally set for June 19th, due to a legal situation involving the newly crowned IPW Heavyweight Champion, Reuben De Jong and IPW management.

Earlier today, Impact Pro Wrestling received a statement from Reuben De Jong's manager, Justin Lane, calling for the whole show to be postponed.

Lane stated that De Jong had not signed a rematch against "The One" Vinny Dunn, despite IPW and Peter Lane's promotion of the match.

"Reuben de Jong will not be competing at Breakdown on June 19 and I strongly insist that this event is postponed in its entirety, pending approval from my legal team. He will be happy to destroy Vinny Dunn on July 17 at the Manurewa Recreation Centre. That is the time and place we have decided that my client will successfully defend his Championship"

IPW Commissioner Dion McCracken is expected to make a statement regarding the June 19th show and the Heavyweight title match over the next few days.
