Kingston Eclipse still holds the Jackson Shield after a main event match with JPE at Maniacs United’s Reined In 1 event this past weekend.

Eclipse began the contest with a flurry of offense but was soon on the back foot after missing a splash in the corner.

JPE threatened to get herself disqualified when she began to choke Eclipse in the corner of the ring, but the risky move paid off in the long run and made it that much harder for Eclipse to get his breath—and any form of advantage—back.

JPE rattled Eclipse with a German suplex against the turnbuckle padding, but allowed herself to get distracted by the Reined In audience instead of following up on her attack.

When JPE did decide to give her attention back to Eclipse, the Jackson Shield holder was ready for her, and dodged a clothesline before firing up and taking the fight to his challenger.

Eclipse eventually staggered JPE enough to nail his opponent with the Full Eclipse, a move that proved strong enough to keep JPE down for a three-count and ensure the Jackson Shield would not change hands.

Also at Reined In 1, Dom “The Maverick” Alupis and Mr Viti were able to score upset victories in singles action with KPW Tag Team Champions Bull Addams and Stix, earning the Maniacs United competitors a tag team title bout.

However, once they stepped in the ring with the titles on the line, the Tauranga Connection kicked things into another gear and put down the tandem known as Rebels Inc to avenge their losses and ensure the tag team titles returned to Tauranga.

Maniacs United Reined In 1 Results:

  • Dom “The Maverick” Alupis def. Bull Addams
  • Blake Kensington the Third def. Rise
  • Mr Viti def. Stix
  • KPW Tag Team Championship:
The Tauranga Connection (Bull Addams & Stix) (c) def. Rebels Inc (Dom “The Maverick” Alupis & Mr Viti)
