AEW Rampage will be available in New Zealand. All Elite Wrestling’s new one-hour show airs live from 2pm (NZST) Saturdays via Fite.
“AEW Rampage will air live … in the UK, Ireland, Australia / New Zealand and other regions exclusively as part of the AEW Plus subscription,” a Fite spokesperson told Digital Spy. “Same great price for the subscription as always.”
AEW Plus is available for $8.99 per month, and provides access to Dark, Dynamite, Elevation, and now Rampage.
A press release describes Rampage as “an electrifying new show featuring the stars of today and tomorrow”.
The debut episode takes place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and features three highly-anticipated matches.
Kenny Omega defends the Impact World Championship against Christian Cage. Fuego del Sol tries to take the TNT Championship—and earn an AEW contract—from Miro. And in the main event, Pittsburgh’s own Dr Britt Baker DMD defends the AEW Women’s Championship against Red Velvet.
Baker addressed Red Velvet during Dynamite earlier today.
“I bleed black and gold just as much as anybody in here but we can all admit this has been a difficult year for us,” Baker told the Pittsburgh audience. “So, Pittsburgh, I present to you: hope.
“And speaking of hope, Red, you might have had a glimmer of it if you were wrestling me in any other city, but not Pittsburgh, not here, not Brittsburgh. Red Velvet, you wanted to swim with the sharks, so I’m going to drag your ass to the deep end.”
One week from Saturday (New Zealand time), AEW holds Rampage: The First Dance at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. Nearly 14,000 tickets have been sold.
