KPW Women’s Champion Scarlett will return to New Zealand with her title after defeating Australia’s Vixsin in Melbourne last night.

“I’m thrilled to bring the cup back home and already looking forward to the next opportunity to wrestle in Australia,” Scarlett told NZPWI.

“Vixsin was as brutal as I had heard but I went toe-to-toe and gave as good as I got.”

Scarlett put her title on the line against Vixsin at PCW’s Unleashed event – the first time the KPW Women’s Championship has been defended abroad.

Both women exchanged a series of knife-edge chops early into the contest, and continued to blast one another with strikes before Scarlett dazed Vixsin with a shot to the back of the head and finished her with a curb stomp.

Scarlett has now defended the KPW Women’s Championship eight times since defeating Nurse Payne for the title at last year’s Halloween Howl.
